HOW THE CONSUMER WORLD AWARDS WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED

These are industry and peer awards. Judges are executives and professionals representing a broad spectrum of industry voices and from around the world. All judges are volunteers who provide their expert inputs and valuable time in scoring each nomination. Judges’ average scores will determine the Golden Bridge Awards winners. In each category the nomination with the highest cumulative score will win the Gold status followed by Silver and Bronze. You or someone who you know may apply to volunteer as a judge.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES

1. Answer this question first – What do you and your organization want to be recognized for?

Make a list of all the things that went well within your company in the past 12-18 months. This will help you determine who or what you want to nominate, and in which categories.

The Categories and Guidelines page lists several sections. Review the categories first and then make a list of all the categories in which you want to nominate. There are many categories to choose from.


2. Review the Terms and Conditions of this Awards Program.

Read the Terms and Conditions of this awards program as you will be required to check the box “Accepted” when begin your online submission process.


3. How To Prepare Your Answers

Prepare your answers in advance so that you can simply copy and paste them onto the online submission form. Even though the online submission forms have a save-and-return feature, having all the answers ready will make it simpler for you to quickly submit your entries.

4. Advice on preparing content

Keep it simple.

Focus more on keeping the content positive and highlight the most important achievements.

Do not criticize the competition.

it’s ok to mention any uniqueness or being the “first” in something.


5. Fees and Deadlines.

There is a fee for submission for each category. The fees increase after each deadline and we do recommend that you submit as early as possible. We do send reminders when a deadline is approaching. Summary of fees and deadlines is here.

7. In addition to submitting Entries what else can your company participate in?

Submit content and advertisements for the Awards Night Printed Book (Printed copies are distributed to all the attendees on the awards night ceremony).

RED CARPET AWARDS CEREMONY IN SAN FRANCISCO

At the awards ceremony our team of photo and video professionals will work with the attendees to create content that can be promoted for several months after this event. This content will be made available complimentary to all the attendees after the event. All finalists and winners are listed and published in the awards night printed memorabilia book which is a collectors edition available complimentary to all the attendees.

Past attendees have called it the Oscars of business world. In fact some or part of the trophies and plaques given at this awards ceremony are still made by the same company that makes the actual Oscars statuette that’s seen on TV. The black tie/dress/tux formal awards ceremony is both fun and memorable. Many even bring their spouses/ significant others to attend. 10 TIPS ON PREPARING AND SUBMITTING WINNING ENTRIES

  • Do submit entries
    The most important thing to do is to submit entries. Your entries will be read and promoted and that’s also great PR for your company. You know your company’s positive achievements well. Only when you make the efforts to share your company’s success stories with rest of the world will recognitions follow.
  • Assign a Key Contact
    Assign a key contact from your company or agency who can best coordinate and submit all the entries for your company. A single person designated as a “Key Contact” from your organization will be able to better coordinate with other people, teams, and departments within your company to ensure that everyone is well represented for recognitions and that nominations are being submitted in a timely manner. If a PR or marketing agency is submitting entries then a person from the agency can be this key contact.

    Don’t wait for deadlines. There is more than one deadline because companies from all over the world participate and some need more time to submit entries than others. But when you submit early, you save on entry fees and you also have more time to send updates if you want anything updated in your submission. So we do recommend that entries are submitted as soon as possible. Here’s a quick summary of deadlines and the corresponding fees.
  • Do Participate in the Judging Process
    Volunteer to be a preliminary-round judge. As a judge you will be able to see the entries submitted by many companies around the world, and you will develop a better sense of the types of entries that judges score highly.  (You will not be allowed to judge entries in categories in which you have submitted entries, however.)  If your application is accepted you will be assigned categories based on your function and experience.  As a preliminary-round judge you will be able to judge as few or as many entries as you like, at your convenience, over the Internet. FAQs – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are organizations/companies from any where in the world eligible to participate?
Yes, companies from any where in the world can participate. Organizations/ companies do not need to have any office in San Francisco or USA to participate.

Our company won in the past. Are we eligible to participate again this year?
Yes, companies that won in the past are eligible to apply again this year. Most companies do participate again each year.

Can we apply in the same category as previous year?
Yes, applying in the same category is recommended. New entrants and a wider spectrum of judges determine the winners each year. So winners may be same or change in each category depending upon the scores. You may also submit nominations in more categories this time. 

Do all the categories have an entry fee?
Your fees, sponsorships, and volunteering help fund the programs. This is a premier “Business Awards” program and involves specialized resources from all over the world. Most categories do have fees which increase with each deadline. There are some categories that have no fees. The earlier you submit your nominations, the more you can save on fees.

Do we have to attend the Red Carpet Awards Ceremony to win?
Attendance is not a must to win. Attendance is however highly recommended for the benefit of finalists who have worked particularly hard to gain recognition and the prestigious award that they will be honored with during the ceremony. At the awards ceremony our team of photo and video professionals will work with the attendees to create content that can be promoted for several months after this event. This content will be made available complimentary to all the attendees after the event.

Can we submit nominations and volunteer as a judge too?
Yes. However as a judge you will not be able to score your own nominations.

How can we order additional copies of trophies, medallions, and plaques?
Any number of additional custom engraved trophies, medallions, or plaques can be ordered online for current or any of the previous years in which your organization won. Order merchandise.
